Decoding the Founder's Vision
Paul, Enough's founder, had a clear vision for his start-up. The story was quite different when it came to his design brief - notthing was that straigth forward. The group distilled the core elements: mission, value proposition, features, and success metrics. This led to our key question:
LET ME TELL YOU A STORY
We brainstormed ideas. I first imagined an Eco-Shopper Academy for fun sustainability education. Then, I focused on visualizing users' progress - growing a plant to show shopping impact. After all, Paul wanted to educate people to push for change.
Further, discovering Paul's marketing assets- vintage mascot, I merged it with the plant concept to align with his brand.
Inspired by 90s nostalgia, I connected the dots to Tamagotchi - the digital pet that demanded attention. The idea struck: make sustainable shopping as engaging as nurturing a virtual pet.
...the idea evolved into a gamified experience that tapped into the power of habit-forming apps and the satisfaction of watching something grow through positive actions.
IMPACT
Paul's enthusiasm validated the risk of focusing on abstract concepts over detailed deliverables. The Plant Guy idea resonated, offering a narrative to nurture sustainable shoppers and engage investors.
Because compelling narrative for the MVP it is essential for gaining momentum in the startup ecosystem.
